The Family Life Seminar combines theory with practical application to help participants understand and apply the core concepts in their daily lives. Supportive and encouraging relationships develop as instructors and participants learn and grow together. Throughout the course, participants use self-graded checklists in personal management, nutrition and wellness, and financial accountability to track their current habits, visualize their progress, and strategize course corrections for areas that need more work.

This life-changing program enables participants to:

The Family Life Seminar is offered twice a year in March and September.

Tuition for the Family Life Seminar is $150.

It includes all seminar materials and the Student Resource Manual that you will continue to use long after you have graduated. A registration fee of $10 is due a week prior to the start of class.

The HMR Counselor Training Program

This very unique program is ideal if you are looking for a creative volunteer opportunity who are looking for a creative volunteer opportunity that prepares you to work directly with people who want to change and improve their lives. HMR counselors are a diverse and committed group from every social, economic and educational sector of the community who believe in the God-given worth of every individual and the inherent dignity of the family.

HMR Counselors recognize that a family’s quality of life is largely dependent upon the mother who most often sets the tone and harmony of the home. The old adage, “When Mama ain’t happy, ain’t nobody happy!” says it best.

All counselor trainees attend a Family Life Seminar (8 sessions) and apply the organizational, relational, financial and nutritional concepts in their own lives. The important changes they make as a result of living the concepts taught in the FLS makes it easy for them to relate to their students who are using these same concepts. Trainees also have 3 added sessions dealing specifically with the role of an HMR Counselor.

Counselor training sessions are held in the spring and fall of the year. The $150 Counselor Training fee covers the Family Life Seminar, counselor training sessions and all instructional materials. Individually tailored payment schedules and scholarship help are available as needed. Schedule a ‘Come and See’ event in your community! Invite a group of people who represent business, health, education, not-for-profit, religious, and parents, and who are invested in building quality of life in your community. We’ll come and share our experience and vision with you, and give you the opportunity to participate in a Train the Trainer Seminar. Then you take the vision forward in your community to empower and transform families.

Train the Trainer Seminars are generally scheduled as 2 ½ day total immersion trainings for 6-10 participants. They’re affordable, and they build your most important asset: the family. Call us for information and pricing.
